I am. I am a deeply twisting road on the coastline, Valleys filled with flowers and herbs, Playful and wild. I am a mountain of rigidness and structure, A breath of fresh air and cheerful innovation, Be cautious during your climb. I am a beach of untold, sunken treasure, Littered beneath the changing sands. Stories that need unearthing, Before the ocean swallows them again in her salty tides. I am a jungle of color and self-expression, Stealthy predators stalk their prey, While vibrant birds dance for their mates. Sunlight dapples in between the shadows, Living in harmony. I am a murky river in the Midwest, Twisting through the farmlands and cities, Power long forgotten in the dammed-up currents, and waters polluted from generations of change. I am the melting glacier, a giant of old, Dripping awake from a long sleep, Sharing forgotten secrets long held frozen. I am the mirage in the desert, Beckoning people forward, And then shimmering away into the sands of time. Was I ever real, or just an iridescent hologram? I am the infinity of space, The radio waves swimming in between the planets, Carrying tales of past, present and future, Into dimensions unseen and unknown. I am the butterfly, forever spiraling on my journey, my map of consciousness on the wings I can never see. I am everything and nothing. I am. - Started in Mazunte on 02-14-20 and finished on 3-3-20 |
