Traveled to this old mission, in Santa Barbara, California ( built in 1820).
I was fascinated by the moorish fountain (built in 1808). In addition to the reflections of the old mission observed in the water, I added koi fish and waterlilies for additional interest. I also added a small peacock in the background. The original oil painting is 48"x36".
