My painting is Sargent’s Garden Party. This piece takes shape on a 10-inch round canvas, where two children in flowing white garments hold glowing lanterns, surrounded by lush greenery and delicate pink flowers. The warm light they carry casts a quiet radiance, inviting a sense of wonder and calm that feels both intimate and timeless. Working with the round canvas challenged me to rethink composition and balance, creating a space where light and shadow dance gently together.
