I have my music degree in Piano Pedagogy and have been teaching for 35+ years. I’ve always “wished” I could paint/draw. In 2013 I saw an ad for one of those restaurant painting classes & decided I’d give it a try. I was SO excited! Truthfully I learned NOTHING at the class but it definitely sparked a flame!
I’ve been painting ever since and I LOVE it! I love the ocean and specifically the east coast, where I lived for 17 years. I started there with my painting. I was also a florist for 20+ years so my love of flowers plays a definite part.
More recently a friend ( 2 friends actually) suggested I try painting pets. When I did, everyone seemed to love them so I’ve added that to my repertoire!!
I have recently added “fluid Art” to my painting and am really having fun with this form of painting which includes painting jewelry, coasters & trivets.
I’m so happy I decided to give it a whirl! Now all I want to do is PAINT!
