2021

Day meets Night, oil on canvas, 24" x 20" was inspired by my obsession with the intersection of the sky and sea especially during the transition between day and night- twilight time.

Back to the Islands, 24" x 30", oil on canvas. Take me back to the islands to feel the balmy breezes, listen to the sea roll in and watch the sun go down.

Tripping the Sandbar, acrylic on canvas, 20" x 24" was inspired by the changing ocean tide and secret sandbars. You can hang out until the tide goes out.

Evening Song, oil on canvas, 20" x 24" was inspired by the spiritual nature of the ocean.

Voyeur, 12" x 16", oil on canvas, was inspired by the blue palette invented in the 18th and 19th centuries. Prussian, Cobalt, French ultramarine and Cerulean were the rage. Van Gogh, Vermeer, Renoir, Picasso and Monet embraced blue.

SOLD -A Heel to Matisse, 16" x 12", oil on canvas, was inspired by Matisse's 1936 "A Nude with a Heel on her Knee". I love the bright colors and expressive nude.
