Not every painting has a story behind it. In fact, most of mine don't. I pick the color palette that I want to work with, put down a background color or colors, and go from there. Sometimes the background consists of nothing but markings, other times just a couple blobs of color. Usually the background is nearly obscured, or completely transformed as I move forward with what I'm feeling from what's happening on the canvas.
Pretty much describes what happened today with Fall from the sky.
16 x 20 with 1.5" unpainted wooden sides. I can paint them white if you prefer. Let me know prior to shipping. I've signed the back, but if you'd rather see my signature on the front, again, let me know and I'll do that before shipping or picking up here at my studio.
