Subtleties of Discord - Acrylic on canvas panel
A background of raw umber applied with brush and water randomly splashed onto the canvas and dabbed and rolled with rags until the desired affect was reached. Marks scratched into the surface to take away some of the color to reveal the white of the canvas.
The addition of white, black, blue and its complement, orange strategically added for exactly the moody feel I was looking for.
