 Into the Deep, oil on canvas, 20"x24", Kathy Corey, $1200 B Extraordinaire Gallery is honored to announce Kathy Corey's painting "Into the Deep" was selected to the juried Serenity Art Exhibition at the Framations Art Gallery located on historic Main Street, St. Charles. This all media juried exhibit focusing on what brings us serenity, where or how we find peace. The exhibit opens on Saturday, September 18 and runs through November 9, 2021. "In to the Deep" was inspired by a boat ride into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Key West. The beauty of the sun shining on the Ocean fills my heart with unbounded joy and serenity.
We hope to see you there. Message from Framations: In lieu of a formal reception and in a effort to avoid elbow to elbow crowds, we will host an Opening Day for this exhibit. Opening Day will be September 18 (note that this is the weekend of MOSAICS) from 10-6. Visitors throughout the day will be invited to vote for People’s Choice, with their vote (that day only) as an entry to a drawing for one of 2 $25 Gift Certificates. Artists and those wishing to mingle with them are encouraged to attend an informal gathering from 1-3pm. Awards will be posted at the beginning of the day for viewing and announced via email and Facebook at 1pm. At this time, with utmost caution for the health and safety of our artists and visitors, we will refrain from serving refreshments. We truly wish to celebrate the juried artists while also respecting the ongoing climate of uncertainty in regards to Covid. |
