“Back to the Islands,” a Florida Bay seascape that takes the viewer back to the islands to feel the balmy breezes, listen to the sea roll in and watch the sun go down.The exhibition opens officially on June 1, 2021 and will continue until June 30, 2021.

Kathy Corey is an artist and the founder of B Extraordinaire Gallery. Originally from Key West, a descendant of seafarers, adventure seekers, and rapscallions lured by the ocean, her art is inspired by her heritage and love of the sea. Her artwork reflects nature's glory, the vastness and power of the ocean and all things therein. The ever-changing sky with its grandeur of colors, clouds and space takes her breath away. Island life, sundrenched children, and tropical gardens fill her canvases.
